As I was walking to work, the screw on my bag came out and the strap broke. I was in the middle of the street when it happened. There was a man watching as he sat on a stoop across the way. We both starting looking for it but weren’t able to find it. I was so annoyed because the screw was tiny, and I couldn’t think of a way to find a replacement. I figured I better keep going and resolve it later. And then… I felt something pierce the bottom of my shoe. It was the screw! I looked up smiling at the man and he said “look at that, it is going to be a great day after all.”
He is right.
